Weddings at The Chapel
Interested in a wedding at The Chapel?
Congratulations on your decision to be married! The vows you take on your wedding day are not only between husband and wife, but also between the two of you and the Lord. Therefore, we view your wedding as a sacred ceremony to be planned with reverence, dignity, honor, and respect.
In order to be married at The Chapel, one or both of the individuals being married must be a member or regular attendee. Those interested in scheduling a wedding at The Chapel should contact our wedding coordinator, Chris Isler at 330.315. 5530.
Pre-Marital Counseling
The importance of preparing for your marriage cannot be overstated. Therefore, pre-marriage counseling is a requirement and most couples will complete our 8-week class (unless counseling is arranged elsewhere). Led by Young Marrieds and Families Pastor Zac Derr, the class meets on successive Monday nights from 7:00–8:15 pm at the Akron Campus and is offered in four sessions throughout the year. Zac seeks to challenge our cultural assumptions and myths about marriage while inspiring and equipping couples to experience the glorious depths of a thriving marriage. Class materials are provided at a reasonable fee.
If you choose to have your wedding elsewhere, we’d still like to support your marriage in any way we can. Please consider participating in the pre-marriage class or any of our community groups for engaged and newly married couples that meet at either campus. If you’re looking for a church home, why not visit us some Sunday?
