Forgiveness—a word, a feeling, an action, an experience, a habit …
Something given, something received … Something divine, something human. Something missing in our squabbles and family experiences, missing in our friendships and divorce proceedings, missing in our relationships with each other and in our relationship with God.
Forgiveness—it’s what Jesus spoke so much about. It’s what his death accomplished. It’s where that adult child needs to get to. It’s what that enraged couple refuse to offer. It’s what we are celebrating every Sunday. And then we come back next week for more. As we receive the bread and the cup during Communion, may the forgiveness that Christ secured be a real reality, a true truth experienced in our souls and minds.

We're often swayed by what the media deems front page news. Disasters take precedence until the next disaster or scandal grabs the attention. We can sometimes be distracted way too easily and move on to the next thing.
Let's not forget our brothers and sisters in Haiti. Let's try to keep them on the front page of our praying and giving and going.
Here's how The Chapel is working to keep aid and love flowing to Haiti:
Praying: World Relief provides prayer requests.
Giving: List of medical supplies needed.
Going: A unique mission trip: traveling to Virginia to help Haiti. A team will travel there from March 28-April 3 to build homes, which will be shipped to Haiti. They will team up with Christ in Action. Contact Fred and Sandy Muffet.
